i think my greatest fear is heights. I am fine if im on a roller coaster secruley strapped in or rapelling with a harness on and secure anchors. but im i am on the edge of a cliff probably starting at 40 feet, i get really scared. the first time i went rapellin i went to buck’s pocket. i was told it was like a 35-45foot bluff. it took me 15 minutes to go down it. because i took so long going down, my legs were shaking afterwards. As soon as i hit the ground i was told i just went down a 75 foot bluff. After that I love rapelling. but every time i look over the edge, i can feel the fear just sinking in. but as long as i am secure, i can overcome my fear. fear within reason…

This is awesome. I have never been rapelling but have always wanted to try it. After reading this I think I am going to go rapelling this Christmas break. =)
